A Tokyo-based artist duo. atro (an interaction design researcher / mixed media artist) and Tenyoh (a multi-creator) started their activities since 2021. They create tangible works made of soft materials such as cloth, thread, hair, feathers, etc., to reconstruct the “feel and sensation” of animacy and anonymous divinity.
The unit name “wo” comes from the Japanese Hiragana “wo” used to connect the relationship between things of different natures, which has an organic form like tangled roots.

東京を拠点に活動するアーティストデュオ。インタラクションデザイン研究者/ミクストメディアアーティストのatroとイラストレーションや小説などを手がけるマルチクリエイターのTenyohのユニットとして2021年から活動開始。布や糸、毛、羽などの柔らかい素材を中心に用いた立体など、匿名的な神々しさや生物的な「感触・感覚」の再構築をテーマとしたアート作品を制作する。
ユニット名の「を」はその文字の形が根を連想させることと、性質の異なる物事の動作、作用、感情といった因果関係を繋ぐという文字の用法に由来している。
